The best fitness routine for beginners is one that is safe, effective, and enjoyable. It should also be challenging enough to help you reach your fitness goals, but not so difficult that it discourages you from continuing.

Here is a sample beginner fitness routine:

  • 5 minutes of light cardio, such as walking or jogging in place
  • 5 minutes of dynamic stretches, such as arm circles, leg swings, and torso twists

  • Squats: 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions
  • Push-ups: 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions (or modified push-ups on your knees if needed)
  • Lunges: 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions per leg
  • Plank: 3 sets of 30-60 seconds
  • Row: 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions

  • 5 minutes of light cardio
  • 5 minutes of static stretches, such as holding a hamstring stretch or calf stretch

You can do this workout 3-4 times per week, with at least one day of rest in between workouts. As you get stronger, you can increase the number of sets and repetitions, or add more challenging exercises.

Here are some tips for beginners:

  • Listen to your body and don't push yourself too hard. If an exercise is too difficult, modify it or take a break.
  • Focus on proper form. It's better to do fewer repetitions with good form than more repetitions with bad form.
  • Warm up before each workout and cool down afterwards.
  • Be consistent with your workouts. Even if you can only spare 30 minutes a few times per week, that's better than nothing.

And most importantly, have fun! If you're not enjoying your workouts, you're less likely to stick with them. Find activities that you challenge and motivate you, and make fitness a part of your lifestyle.
